Mustikkaharju is one of the largest kindergartens in Rovaniemi, with a capacity for nearly 200 children. Daycare units are organized into two wings, along a central corridor. They are grouped into 5 modules, each featuring its own color theme, which is carried through the interior walls and floors but also window frames, so it shows on the outside. At its center, every module has a cloakroom topped by a large roof light shaft spanning the shorter length of the room. All of the service and multifunctional spaces are located at the intersection of the two wings.
